International Scientific Conference
on

The Department of Civil Law and the Research Centre for Modern Hungarian Civil Law and European Private Law kindly invite scholars to present papers at the international conference on "Invalidity Rules in the European Civil Codes". Contributions regarding any aspect of invalidity (e.g. types of invalidity, grounds of invalidity, legal consequences, sub-questions, actual problems, etc.) in every field of civil law are welcomed.
The conference will take place in an audio-visual online form, via the Google Meet application. The working language during the conference will be English.
According to our plans, the plenary session for presentations of the keynote speakers is followed by more thematic sessions for presentations (max. 20 minutes). The sessions will be dedicated for special topics determined upon the incoming applications; a particular session will be dedicated to PhD students’ presentations.
The conference is organised by the University of Miskolc, Faculty of Law, Department of Civil Law, by the Research Centre for Modern Hungarian Civil Law and European Private Law, by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Regional Committee in Miskolc, with the support of the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Fund.
Registration Process
Participants willing to present a paper at the conference are required to register and submit an abstract by filling the Google Form available at the following link. https://forms.gle/zSiXCS21EqhHeUXU7
Abstracts should be written in English and should not contain any figures nor references. The length of the abstract should be 1,500–2,500 characters (including spaces), accompanied with 4-5 keywords. Book of Abstracts will be published online with an ISBN number at the website of the Research Centre for Modern Hungarian Civil Law and European Private Law.
Conference Proceedings
We kindly invite the participants to publish the full papers of their presentation, as well.
The accepted and peer-reviewed full papers (max. length of 40,000 characters) will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN. We will apply for inclusion of the proceedings to Scopus and WoS databases. Further formal requirements for paper submission will be published later.
